Supporting the Community

Through engaging workshops and school holiday programs, we empower the community with essential skills and knowledge for safe cycling.

Our workshops emphasise the significance of equipment checks, proper helmet fitting, and bike maintenance.

Participants learn fundamental bike control and handling techniques, navigating through progressively challenging skills courses guided by experienced facilitators.

We prioritise hazard recognition and risk management, instilling a keen awareness of road safety principles and their responsibilities as cyclists.

Interactive sessions cover basic road rules and route selection, complemented by simulated traffic scenarios to reinforce learning.

If possible, participants embark on a supervised ride in the community, applying newfound skills in real-world settings.

Cycling Safe is committed to equipping young and older cyclists with the confidence and competence to ride safely and responsibly.
